Minister of Youth Development, Senator the Honorable Emmalin Pierre, has stated that she stands in full support of Minister of Health and the Environment, Senator the Honorable Ann David Antoine in the face of calls by opposition members for her to step down.

Senator Pierre states that she was shocked and concerned at the way a recent statement made by the Minister in Parliament was twisted and misrepresented for political gains.

The Minister of Youth Development was full of praise for the work done by Minister Antoine, as it relates to the Development of the health sector in Grenada.

She describes her as a hard working committed and visionary individual whose qualities have no doubt aided in the many improvements and development seen in the health sector under her leadership.

Senator Pierre has appealed to Senator Antoine not to be distracted by the comments being made, but to stand firm as she continues to work diligently to bring better health services to Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique.
