GRENADIAN JUNIOR TENNIS PLAYERS HEAD FOR FIRST CARIBBEAN JUNIOR TENNIS TOURNAMENT

Ten Grenadian junior tennis players are down to participate in the 2008 first Caribbean International Junior tennis tournament in Barbados from March 31st to April 5th. The players include Corey Wilson, Yannick James, Alex Hossle, Naomi Brathwaite; in the boys and girls 14 and under.

In the boys and girls 18 and under category; Rohan Modeste, Shem Alexis, in his first ITF world ranking event and his sister Lois, the lone female in that division.All three of the 18 and under players are already in Barbados and will be joined by Coach Richie Hughes on Friday morning.

The qualifying rounds for the boys 18 and under ITF world ranking singles event begins on Saturday morning.

Yannick James is currently participating in the 2008 IBM championships in Trinidad.

The other six 14 and under players are scheduled to leave Grenada for Barbados on Sunday morning..
