Two women arrested over British Couple Killing in Antigua

Police in Antigua have arrested two women over the murder of a honeymooning couple from Britain.

Police say the suspects appeared before a judge on the Caribbean island on Thursday after being charged with crimes “connected to the murders” of Benjamin and Catherine Mullany.

Investigators did not give more information about their alleged role in the July attack on the 31-year-old newlyweds at a beachfront cottage.

Police Inspector Cornelius Charles told The Associated Press he expects more arrests to be forthcoming. He declined to give details, saying it might jeopardise the investigation..
