The National Under 23- Netball Team will be leaving for St. Lucia on Saturday 5th – 11th July to participate in the upcoming ECCB/OECS Netball Championship in St. Lucia. The team comprises of the following persons:
Rachael John , Shirlyn Lewis, Denis Cameron, Camille Bernard, Delis Peters, Crystal Archibald, Jamie Sylvester, Ixtty Joseph, Christa Stephen, Iana Joseph, and Ltysha Cato. The team will be accompanied by Manager, Mrs. Elma Adeltrude Alexis-Griffith, Mrs. Barbara Simpson Coach and Umpire Jeneil Jacob.
The team began training since early March and training intensified when Mr. Naka Joseph was called in to assist with the physical aspect. In June of this year the U-23 team defeated the visiting team from Trinidad & Tobago during a friendly encounter at the Tanteen Netball Complex .
