The 2015 Annual Report of the Regional Bureau for Education in Latin America and the Caribbean is now available online

2015 was a year for the Regional Bureau for Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (OREALC/UNESCO Santiago) to consolidate projects and interventions. It was also a period of achievements, results, and preparation for the new Education 2030 Agenda, to be achieved globally and by the Latin American and Caribbean region by 2030.

Following the adoption of the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda and its 17 goals (SDGs), UNESCO Santiago has participated, over the past year, in a number of national, regional, and global events, and has produced high-level technical instruments for use by Member States to meet the educational challenges of SDG-4, namely “Ensure inclusive and quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.”

UNESCO Santiago has also disseminated promotional materials and communication messages on SDG-4 and has organized technical meetings to ensure an extensive consultation and understanding of Education 2030 and its developments.

We invite you to download to read and/or download the annual report 2015 which summarizes our efforts in 2015.
